Current status
To ensure the CPI process and checklist continue to be fit for purpose and meet the needs of all stakeholders, the CPI Working Group is currently undertaking a further review and update planned to be concluded by Spring 2027.
Dental professionals were invited in Autumn 2025 to complete a consultation survey to feedback on their views and experiences of the inspection process and checklist.
The working group convened in February 2026 to review the consultation feedback and begin the process of updating the CPI process and checklist. The next meeting of the working group is scheduled for July 2026.
